Welcome to the official home of The Nigerian Community in Västerbotten! Based primarily in Umeå, Sweden, our community brings together Nigerian residents to support one another, foster deep social connections, and proudly share our vibrant cultural heritage far from home.
Our core mission
- Cultural Preservation: Dedicated to teaching rich Nigerian history, values, and traditions to the next generation so they stay connected to their roots.
- Mutual Support & Connection: Providing a welcoming, reliable network for Nigerians living in Västerbotten to share experiences, build community, and look out for one another.
- Celebration & Identity: Showcasing the beauty of our heritage by gathering in traditional African attire for community events, holidays, and special milestones.
