Farah Roukachi

Writing, social work and advocacy

Farah Roukachi is an author, poet, and creative individual from Umeå with Moroccan roots. With degrees in social work (bachelor’s and master’s) and as a single parent living with high-functioning autism, she demonstrates that everyone can grow and flourish regardless of their background.

Farah is the author of the books After Darkness Comes The Light (2018) and Nurture Your Inner Self and Flourish (2025). Her writings focus on identity, self-image, and societal challenges.

On Instagram, as Digital Social Worker, she shares knowledge and inspiration with a focus on leadership, mental health, and motivation to help people take control of their lives and break down barriers.

Farah is active in social issues, engaged in the association Mama Africa in Umeå, and other non-profit forums. She lectures on leadership and human rights and leads workshops.

She inspires others to believe in themselves and be proud of their identity. When we see and appreciate this in each other, we grow together as a society and a team.
